Liam Feeney

Born: 21/01/1987

Position: Winger

Squad number: 15

Profile: London-born Feeney has made a relatively quick jump from non-league to Championship football in the space of five years.

After making over 100 appearances at non-league level for Hayes and Salisbury, he joined Southend for a short loan spell in 2008 before being snapped up by Eddie Howe at Bournemouth.

Feeney went on to make 109 appearances for The Cherries, scoring 12 goals, before he was signed by Kenny Jackett for around £200,000 on the final day of the August transfer window in 2011.

He made his debut for Millwall away to Birmingham in September 2011 and made a total of 34 appearances, scoring 4 goals, in his first season at Championship level.

He scored the winner away to Southampton in the fourth round of the FA Cup – a last-minute curler to take the Lions through to the fifth round.

Did you know: Feeney has yet to declare his international loyalties and therefore could yet play for either the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland in the future – he has relatives on both sides of the border.
