JOHN Marquis will be made available for loan once he is fully fit, Millwall boss Kenny Jackett has revealed.

Marquis, who has been sidelined since September with a groin injury, is set to return to full training next week after completing his rehabilitation.

But Jackett wants the striker to gain more first-team experience and is planning to circulate his name to clubs in League One and League Two in the New Year

"It looks as if that would be ideal for him, rather than being a substitute," Jackett told NewsAtDen.

"For his next stage of progress, I want him to get out and play for half a season. That's where I want to get to with the squad."
