Boss Kenny Jackett may be tempted to name an unchanged line-up after the impressive performance on the south coast, however with the Lions having won just two of their last eight home fixtures, the manager may shuffle his pack in order to find a winning formula at The Den.
Frontmen Darius Henderson and Andy Keogh look set to retain their places in attack, with the latter looking to add to his Millwall goal-tally after opening his account for the Lions on Tuesday.
Winger Liam Feeney marked his return to the first-team with a goal – his second in three games – and is set to retain his place in the Lions line-up.
With Josh Wright, Harry Kane, Danny N’Guessan and James Henry all providing options from the substitutes bench at Brighton on Tuesday, Jackett continues to have the majority of his squad available to select from.
Midfielders Jimmy Abdou and Hamer Bouazza are recovering from knee and groin injuries respectively and Saturday’s fixture may come too soon for the pair. Goalkeeper Steve Mildenhall will retain his place on the substitutes bench having overcome an ankle injury.
Left-back Lennard Sowah is suffering from minor back and knee problems and is set to once again miss out. The 19-year-old is still awaiting his first appearance for the Lions.
Premier League strugglers Bolton will be without former Millwall loanee Kevin Davies for their trip to The Den. The striker suffered a medial ligament injury to his knee last week and is set for a spell on the sidelines, while full-back Tyrone Mears will also miss out after requiring minor surgery on his leg, leaving the former Burnley man unavailable for six weeks.
January signings Ryo Miyaichi and American Tim Ream are set for their first Bolton starts following their respective moves from Arsenal and the New York Red Bulls.
Miyaichi impressed in last weekend’s defeat to Wigan Athletic and is set to be given the nod by Trotter’s manager Owen Coyle, while American Ream could finally make his debut for the Reebok club.
Manchester City loanee Dedryck Boyata could also be set for an appearance as Bolton look set to name a strong side against the Lions. However former Watford frontman Marvin Sordell is cup-tied and will miss out.
