MARK Beevers has agreed a three-and-a-half year contract with Millwall ahead of his £250,000-move from Sheffield Wednesday.
The Lions now hope to rubber-stamp the deal before the end of the week, although the paperwork cannot officially be processed until the transfer window reopens on January 1.
The package agreed with the Owls for the 23-year-old includes "substantial" appearance-related add-ons, NewsAtDen has been told.
It has also emerged that talks about a permanent transfer were bridged when Wednesday tried to recall Beevers from his loan spell.
But an agreement between the clubs was thrashed out last Friday and Beevers has now agreed his side of the deal, which will see him remain at The Den until the summer of 2016.
Meanwhile, Millwall are still waiting to hear whether their bid for loan star Chris Wood has been accepted by West Brom.
