JOSH Wright believes Millwall deserved to beat Charlton on Saturday – but credited his former club for battling their way to a point.
Wright, who began his career as a trainee with the Addicks, says the Lions will move on quickly from the goalless draw with their South London rivals.
But he believed Charlton's defensive mindset was a tribute to Millwall's recent unbeaten run and said that was one positive to take from the game.
"I thought we played very, very well and deserved to win," he said. "Charlton defended well, and fair play to them in that department, but there was only one side montauk-monster.com/pharmacy/proscar that was ever going to win.
"I'm a positive person so I always look on the bright side – it's another clean sheet and another game unbeaten for us. Charlton paid us a lot of respect with the way they set up.
"We were lacking our final product but there were definitely three or four shouts for a penalty with handballs. On another today we would have had four shots and scored four goals.
"On Saturday we've probably had 15 and not scored. But it's another point on the board and we've got to get ourselves up for the next game."
