MILLWALL have agreed a fee with Sheffield Wednesday for the permanent transfer of loan defender Mark Beevers.
NewsAtDen understands a cut-price deal worth in the region of £250,000 plus add-ons has been thrashed out after the Lions made an approach on Friday morning.
Owls boss Dave Jones had earlier confirmed that the Lions had made a bid for the 23-year-old and that their offer was being considered.
A fee has since been agreed and Beevers will finalise personal terms early next week before the move is officially ratified on January 1 when the transfer window opens.
Millwall have committed to buying the centre-back even if he picks up an injury – whilst Wednesday can no longer recall him as they had previously been able to do under the terms of his loan.
Beevers has made ten appearances for Millwall since joining the club at the start of October and is keen to stay at The Den.
