MILLWALL will again be without midfielder Liam Trotter when they travel to Wolves on Tuesday – but he has an "outside chance" of playing against Charlton at the weekend.
Trotter missed the Lions' 2-0 win against Blackburn Rovers with an adductor strain and is set to sit out the midweek trip to Molineux.
However, manager Kenny Jackett says the 24-year-old will be assessed by club physio Bobby Bacic ahead of the South London derby with the Addicks at The Den.
"I don't think he'll be back on Tuesday," Jackett said. "He has an outside chance of making Saturday and we'll assess him on Thursday or Friday.
"If he doesn't make Charlton, I'm confident he'll make the Ipswich game the following week."
Jimmy Abdou returned to the side to partner Josh Wright in Trotter's absence at Ewood Park and Jackett says he is pleased with the cover he has in the middle of the park.
He said: "We feel we have three good central midfielders – maybe four with Therry Racon, who's been unlucky with injuries. It's a strong area for us.
"Josh has been unlucky to be out of the side recently. Our good run at the end of last season, when Liam was injured, coincided with those two playing together.
"We're quite happy with that combination."
