Millwall have to be wary of "wounded" Wolves, says Forde

DAVID Forde insists Millwall are "under no illusions" about the size of the task they face at Molineux on Tuesday night – despite Wolves' eight-game winless run.

Wolves suffered a 2-1 home defeat at the hands of Nottingham Forest on Saturday, a result which saw them plummet to the bottom of the Championship form table.

The Lions, meanwhile, are currently the team to beat in the division after extending their unbeaten run to 11 matches with a 2-0 win at Blackburn Rovers.

And Forde admits the onus will be on the home side to get a much-needed win after manager Ståle Solbakken was forced to deny claims he has lost the support of the dressing room.

"The pressure is all on Wolves," he said. "We're on a good streak at the moment; we're 11-unbeaten, we're looking organised and we're looking fit.

"We're extremely hard to beat and that's a big thing in this division. The Championship is all about momentum and picking up points whenever you can.

"Wolves got beaten on Saturday, they'll be wounded and they will want to strike back. But we're under no illusions and we've got to be on our game."
