Feeney determined to give Millwall boss food for thought

LIAM Feeney is hoping his recent performances have given Kenny Jackett a selection dilemma ahead of Millwall's trip to Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.

Feeney came into the Lions side for recent games against Derby and Leeds United after fellow winger James Henry picked up a hamstring injury against Watford.

But Henry returned to the bench against the Whites and replaced Feeney in the 59th minute of the match – and could dislodge him from the starting line-up at Ewood Park now that he is fully fit.

But Feeney said: "I just try to give my best whenever I am out there on the pitch and if the gaffer thinks he has to make a tactical switch then that is his decision.

"We won the game against Leeds and that is all that matters in the end.

"I have just been trying to play my game because that is all I can do. I work hard and make sure that when I get my chance to play, I show what I am capable of.

"Hopefully I am doing that and giving the gaffer a decision to make as to whether to play me or not. It is up to him after that."
