SEVEN Millwall first-team players were given a run-out in a friendly match against Fulham's U21 side on Tuesday afternoon.

Maik Tayor, Scott Malone, Josh Wright, Karleigh Osborne, Therry Racon, Dany N'Guessan and Shaun Batt all featured in the 1-1 draw at Motspur Park.

The Cottagers fielded an experienced side with former Arsenal defender Philippe Senderos the only name of note in their squad.

Batt put the Lions ahead when he converted Dylan Richard's cut-back before Alex Smith levelled from the penalty spot for the home side.

Scott Fitzgerald said: "With the game coming up against Leeds on Sunday this was an opportunity to give a few of the guys some minutes against very good quality opposition.

"All the pro's had an excellent attitude as expected and I was very pleased with the overall level of performance against a good Fulham team."

Millwall U21s face Ipswich Town at The Den in their next Development League 2 fixture on November 19, kick-off 1pm.
