MILLWALL will assess the extent of Chris Taylor's back injury on Monday after the winger was forced off against Derby.
Taylor had to be replaced on the stroke of half-time against the Rams by Scott Malone, who went onto set-up Andy Keogh's winner, and it was initially feared he could miss the televised clash with Leeds United on Sunday.
However, the Lions are confident that the problem will settle down over the next 48 hours and that the 25-year-old will be fit to face Neil Warnock's side.
"His back has seized up," assistant boss Joe Gallen confirmed. "It’s a phrase I use a lot when getting up off a chair.
"We gave him five minutes to see if he was going to be okay but Derby's right back kept bombing on. It was too much of a risk to take it to half-time. The advice from the physio was to take him off.
"The physio will be in on Monday – he doesn’t get a day off. We will see how it is then."
