MILLWALL defender Alan Dunne has been fined £2,000 after admitting an FA charge of improper conduct relating to comments made on Twitter.

The right-back, who was deemed to be in breach of Rule E3, was charged last month after retweeting a comment that suggested referees are biased against the Lions in the wake of their 6-0 defeat to Birmingham.

The charge led to boss Kenny Jackett banning his players from using the social networking site to discuss footballing matters, a move which has seen most players discontinue the use of their accounts.

Dunne has also been warned about his future conduct.
