KENNY Jackett has confirmed that he will discuss the possibility of extending Mark Beevers' loan spell at Millwall with his parent club Sheffield Wednesday.
Beevers is due to return to Yorkshire after the Lions' game at Nottingham Forest next Saturday – but Jackett says he will see if he can keep the centre-back for longer.
The 22-year-old has made four appearances since arriving at The Den at the start of October and scored a crucial equaliser in the South London derby at Crystal Palace two week's ago.
"Mark has one more game," said Jackett, speaking after his side's 4-0 win over Huddersfield Town.
"We'll speak to Sheffield Wednesday at the end of his loan. He's contributed to a good clean sheet today, which is pleasing.
"Since he's been here we have been unbeaten, so that's a nice little run and a good stat. As a young player, he's looking to get into a Championship side and stay there so he can make his way."
