DARIUS Henderson's trial has been delayed for a third time due to the unavailability of a witness, the Crown Prosecution Service has confirmed.

Henderson, who was charged with causing grievous bodily harm without intent following an altercation on New Year's Day, will now stand trial on March 5, 2013.

The three-day hearing was due to start next week, having originally been postponed in August, but a judge approved an application to rearrange the date at St Albans Crown Court.

The charge facing Henderson carries a maximum prison sentence of five years under Section 20 of the Offences against the Person Act.
