Preview: Southampton vs. Millwall

MILLWALL could be forced to make changes for their FA Cup replay against high-flying Southampton, with Shane Lowry and Jimmy Abdou struggling with injuries.

The duo sustained knocks during Saturday’s league defeat to London rivals West Ham United.

The pair are rated as doubtful and could force Millwall manager Kenny Jackett to once again make changes to his depleted squad as the Lions look to bounce back from consecutive league defeats. Josh Wright and Tony Craig are the most likely to deputise should the pair be ruled out.

Frontman Andy Keogh is ineligible having not been registered for the original tie which ended 1-1 at The Den ten days ago. Tottenham loanee Harry Kane looks likely to start in his place alongside Darius Henderson, however fellow forwards John Marquis and former Saint Danny N’Guessan will be pushing for starting positions.

If Millwall were to progress to the fifth round, Republic of Ireland international Keogh would be eligible as he has yet to make an appearance in the competition this season.

Millwall are set to once again be without captain Paul Robinson who continues his recovery from a thigh injury. The Lions skipper could, generic lexapro online pharmacy however, make his return an the weekend in the league encounter against Derby County.

Hamer Bouazza and Jordan Stewart both look unlikely to be involved as they continue their recovery from groin injuries, while Therry Racon and Tam Mkandawire remain long-term absentees.

Left-back Lennard Sowah will be hoping to be involved as the 19-year-old awaits his debut for the Lions following his arrival from Hamburg on loan.

Southampton look set to also make changes with manager Nigel Adkins admitting their league ambitions take priority over their performances in the FA Cup. The Saints manager has suggested that both midfielder Richard Chaplow and January signing Tadanari Lee will start tonight against the Lions.

Southampton will, however, be without frontman Billy Sharp, who is ineligible, and full-back Danny Fox following his red card against Birmingham City on Saturday.

Bartosz Bialkowski looks set to replace first-choice goalkeeper Kelvin Davis while Dan Harding, Lee Holmes, Lee Barnard and Radhi Jaidi could all play a part. Youngsters Luke Shaw, Ben Reeves, Jack Stephens and James Ward-Prowse will also all be pushing for some game-time.

The winner of the tie faces an FA Cup fifth round home tie against Premier League strugglers Bolton Wanderers.
