TOM Elliott made his competitive comeback from injury as Millwall's under-23s lost 3-2 to Leeds United in a Professional Development League game on Monday afternoon.
Elliott, 28, hasn't featured for the senior side since April 30 and saw a loan move to Ipswich Town fall through earlier this month.
The hosts took the lead in the 38th minute when Pascal Struijk fired home Ezgjan Alioski's cross, before on-loan Arsenal forward Eddie Nketiah doubled the lead.
With 15 minutes left George Alexander was fouled and took the penalty himself. Goalkeeper Ilian Meslier tipped his low effort onto the post but Alexander reacted quickest to slot in the rebound.
And Kevin Nugent's side were level when Billy Mitchell drove in low from outside the box to beat Meslier.
However, Leeds won it six minutes into injury-time when Mateusz Bogusz's free-kick deflected past goalkeeper Ryan Sandford.
Millwall: Sandford; Moss, Debrah, Ransom, Topalloj; Skeffington, Mitchell, Duncan, Burey; Elliott, Alexander.
Subs: Muller, Fanshawe, Davies, Strachan, Bradbury.
