MILLWALL striker Chris Wood was an unused substitute as New Zealand beat Tahiti 3-0 in Christchurch this morning.

The West Brom loanee played 60 minutes for the All Whites on Friday, also against Tahiti, but was left on the bench for part two of the double-header.

A goal from former Middlesbrough frontman Chris Killen and a brace from Michael McGlinchey secured a comfortable victory for the Kiwis, in what was the third stage of World Cup qualifying for nations in the Oceania Football Confederation.

Wood will now fly back to London to link up with the Lions squad ahead of the derby against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Saturday.
