MILLWALL boss Neil Harris is hoping to add to his squad before Saturday’s friendly against Real Sociedad.
Harris was meeting chief executive Steve Kavanagh after Wednesday’s game at Southend to check on the progress of a deal.
Harris signed Ireland under-21 captain Jayson Molumby earlier this week.
Harris said: “We’re really pleased to get Jayson in. A lot of people might not have known about him or heard about him, but they’d have spoken to their mates at Brighton and seen the Toulon [Tournament] stuff over the summer and gone, ‘wow, what a player he’s going to be’.
“So really pleased with Jayson coming in. He’s a long way off match fitness so he’s not going to be included at the weekend.
“With regards the next one coming in, well I’ll see Steve Kavanagh [Wednesday night] to find out if we’ve progressed it forward.
“But it is progressing and I do expect the player in. Will it be before Saturday? I hope so, there’s real potential for that.”
