MILLWALL are signing winger Connor Mahoney from Bournemouth.
The 22-year-old, who enjoyed a successful loan spell at Birmingham City last season, leaves the Vitality Stadium after making just two appearances – both in the FA Cup.
Mahoney played 32 matches for the Blues under former manager Gary Monk, scoring twice, whilst adding four assists as they narrowly avoided relegation despite a nine points deduction.
The winger joined Bournemouth for around £425,000 in July 2017 from hometown club Blackburn Rovers, but failed to make a single league appearance for the Cherries – featuring just twice in the FA Cup in 2017/2018 before he was sent on loan to Barnsley for the remainder of the campaign in January.
Mahoney, who has represented England at Under-18, Under-19 and Under-20 level, was named as Birmingham's Young Player of the Season and becomes the Lions' fourth summer signing, following the arrivals of Alex Pearce, Frank Fielding and Matt Smith.
Mahoney completed a medical and was at the training ground on Tuesday. He is set to join his new team-mates this week before traveling with the squad and backroom staff to Portugal on Friday.
