Championship make-up for 2019-20 decided – with Millwall and Charlton tipped for drop

THE final make-up of the 2019-20 Championship was decided on Monday as Aston Villa defeated Derby County 2-1 to win promotion to the Premier League and consign the Rams to another season in the second tier.

Millwall have been joined in next season's competition by Charlton, who scored a 94th-minute League One play-off final winner against Sunderland on Sunday.

And the Lions and Addicks have been installed as favourites to go down by Sky Bet, the main Championship sponsors.

The south London rivals are both currently 5/2 for the drop, with Barnsley, automatically promoted last season with Luton, 15/8. Those odds will shift through the summer as clubs reshape their squads for the campaign.

Neil Harris' Millwall are 16/1 to win promotion. Fulham, relegated from the Premier League in 2018-19, are favourites for the title at 7/1, followed by Leeds (8/1) and West Brom (9/1).
