Millwall's Moro yet to hear about potential new deal

STEVE Morison is still unsure about his future next season and joked: “Someone needs to ring me!”

Millwall boss Neil Harris said earlier this season that Morison would be a Lions player in 2019-20, but the club skipper has yet to sign a new deal.

The Lions will be in the Championship for a third straight season after beating relegation with two games left, and Harris insisted this campaign he didn’t want to lose Morison, who is out of contract this summer.

NewsAtDen asked Morison for an update on his future this week, and reminded him of Harris’ assurances.

Morison responded: “Well, someone needs to ring me!”

He added: “It isn’t even something we have spoken about. It is a question for the manager and I presume getting safe and that was the main priority, so we haven’t spoken about it.

“It’s his decision, it’s up to the manager. With everything that has gone on he might change his mind, I might be looking for a club!

“I don’t yet know, we will wait and see and there will be discussions, I suppose, starting after the game Tuesday night, with a lot of people.

“It will be interesting to see what happens.”
