Millwall loan watch: Lions trio experience relegation for first time in young careers

DANNY McNamara and Harry Donovan have experienced the first relegation of their careers after Havant & Waterlooville’s 3-2 defeat to Solihull Moors on Saturday.

The Lions pair have gained valuable first-team experience with Lee Bradbury’s side, but couldn’t help the National League club avoid the drop. They are an insurmountable 11 points off safety with three games left.

In Isthmian League South Central, Egham Town have been doomed for some time, and their drop into the Southern leagues was confirmed with their 3-1 defeat at Hertford Town at the weekend. Lions stopper Ryan Sandford was in goal for Egham.

Sid Nelson was on the bench as Tranmere Rovers defeated MK Dons 2-1 to keep their automatic promotion dream alive.

Rovers were four points behind MK Dons in League Two but that gap is now a point after goals from David Perkins and Connor Jennings left them two points off Mansfield in third with four games left.
