Millwall won't rush goalkeeper back to training

MILLWALL hope to have Jordan Archer back in training this week – but won’t rush the goalkeeper.

Archer missed the FA Cup quarter-final against Brighton last Sunday through illness and withdrew from the Scotland squad for European qualifiers against Kazakhstan and San Marino.

David Martin has played the last two games for the Lions.

“Jordan’s been feeling really rough recently and whether there’s a chance later this week, possibly,” Harris said.

“We’re hoping to have him back in training this week at some stage, but with no game next weekend there’s no real sense of urgency to force him back.

“We’ll see and if he manages to get back this week then that’s good for him.”
