MIDFIELDER Jimmy Abdou played through the pain of an ankle injury during the second-half of Millwall's 2-1 win over Bolton, manager Kenny Jackett has revealed.

But Jackett is confident that Abdou will be able to recover from the blow in time to face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park after the international break.

The Lions boss will be bolstered by the return of Shane Lowry from suspension and are also hopeful that Karleigh Osborne will return from a calf strain.

"We will have Lowry and perhaps Osborne back for our next batch of games," Jackett said.

"We hope that David Forde and Andy Keogh don't pick up any injuries while they are away with Ireland so we can really focus on this local derby and make sure we do ourselves justice.

"Abdou had a knock on the ankle in the first-half and I don't quite know how he got through the game, but it has a couple of weeks to settle down so I am anticipating that it will be okay."
