Millwall loan watch: Nelson helps Tranmere Rovers into play-off places

SID Nelson came on as a late substitute to help Tranmere see out a 1-0 win at Exeter on Saturday.

Nelson was sent on in the 93rd minute as James Norwood's goal was enough to help Tranmere into the League Two play-off places.

Tranmere withstood pressure in seven minutes of injury-time when Nelson's presence gave them extra defensive security.

Danny McNamara was on the bench as Dover moved four points clear of the National League relegation zone with a 3-0 win at home to Braintree.

Former Millwall striker Alfie Pavey got Dover's first goal.

Defender James Brown wasn't involved as leaders of League Two, Lincoln, won 2-1 at Forest Green Rovers.
