WEST Ham manager Sam Allardyce has confirmed he will not be appealing against the red card given to Kevin Nolan during Saturday's win over Millwall.
The former Bolton boss was insistent in his post-match comments that Nolan's tackle did not warrant a dismissal, arguing the two-footed lunge on Jack Smith was not dangerous.
"It would be frivolous because they won't change their mind, there are far too many instructions going out to referees today," Allardyce told the club's official website.
"We have got the squad to hopefully compensate now, we'll get someone to fill in.
"We didn't do badly without him with 10 men so we should make sure we do all right without him with 11."
