Behind Enemy Lines: Sheffield Wednesday

MILLWALL are looking to end a four-game winless league run as Sheffield Wednesday come to The Den on Tuesday night.
Wednesday have picked up four points in two games under Steve Bruce without conceding.
Lucas Ball spoke to Owls fan Simon Hope this week.

Why do you support Sheffield Wednesday?
My family have always been Wednesdayites, so I’ve supported them since I was born. In fact my dad already had me enrolled as a Young Owls member!
What’s been your favourite season following the Owls?
Aside from the three visits to Wembley in 1992-93, it's probably the 2011-12 season when we pipped United to promotion from League One on the final day of the season.
And the worst?
There have been many. Possibly the 2009-10 season, though, when we got relegated with a final -draw against Crystal Palace and had to endure Alan Irvine as our manager.
Steve Bruce was criticised by a couple of well-known pundits after not taking over for around a month after agreeing to become manager. I presume that view is strongly countered by fans?
Yes, it was a complete nothing story. Bruce and Wednesday had agreed this before he started and the fans were fully behind Steve spending that time with his family.
Were you happy with the appointment?
Extremely. Finally appointing an experienced Championship manager who knows how to get teams out of this league, something we witnessed first-hand in 2016,unfortunately.
What changes has he made?
We’ve certainly had a much more attack-emphasised style of play which suits our players. About time after the shackles they’d been put under with the previous manager.
I think the problem has been that the previous two managers were very much 'Yes men' but they've  now finally appointed someone with strong ideas who knows the division.
Which Wednesday players will the Lions need to keep an eye on?
There are a few: Fernando Forestieri, Adam Reach…but Steven Fletcher has been the stand-out attacking player over the past half dozen games, for me.
Similarly, which players from the home side are you worried about?
I’d probably say the local lad, Lee Gregory.
What are your thoughts on Neil Harris?
He’s obviously a Millwall legend and seems to always get the best out of his players without Millwall having spent a large amount of money relative to most in the division.
If you could sign one of his players, who would it be and why?
Probably Ben Marshall purely for sentimental reasons. It would also finally put an end to the “Why don’t we sign Ben Marshall?” threads on Owlstalk!
What did you make of Millwall’s January business?
I think Alex Pearce is a good piece of business, a solid Championship centre-back. You guys have obviously turned a couple of loans into perms in Ryan Leonard and Tom Bradshaw…funnily enough, I actually now live in the house Leonard was renting before he moved to Millwall in August!
What's your predicted Wednesday starting XI and formation?
Same side as on Saturday, I’d imagine.
Westwood; Palmer, Fox, Hector, Thornily; Hutch, Bannan; Reach, Boyd, Forestieri; Fletcher.
Will you be at The Den on Tuesday night?
Unfortunately not – my two seven-year old girls don’t do Tuesday-night trips to London.
The game, being in midweek, will be live on Sky Sports’ red button feature – what are your views on that availability?
I guess on occasions like this it's great as I wouldn’t normally be able to get to the game, but it’s definitely affecting home attendances across the league for midweek games.
I think clubs need compensating more than what they currently are being for this reason.
Finally, what’s your score prediction?
2-1 Wednesday
