Onyedinma and Skalak involved as Millwall development squad defeat Coventry

JIRI Skalak was among the goals as Millwall under-23s defeated Coventry City in their Professional Development League South fixture at Calmont Road on Monday afternoon. 

Skalak was one of four senior Lions players involved. Tom King started in goal, while Alex Pearce and Fred Onyedinma also got competitive minutes.

Mason Saunders-Henry put Kevin Nugent's side ahead before Skalak doubled the lead and George Alexander added a late third.



Jehtro Hanson and Lewis White, two other youngsters who have been in Neil Harris' senior match-day squads, also featured.

The under-23s move up to fifth in the table before Friday's trip to Bristol City.

Millwall: 4-4-2: King; Harvey, Pearce, Parker (c), Tiensia; Skalak, Hanson, Saunders-Henry (Mitchell 83'), White; Onyedinma, Alexander.

Subs not used: Wright, Topalloj, Skeffington, Duncan.
