NEIL Harris is ready to make some “tough decisions” against Rotherham this weekend.
Millwall produced a heroic display to knock Everton out of the FA Cup last Saturday but some of those players are not guaranteed to start as the Lions return to league action.
Harris’ options against the Millers are boosted by the availability of Ben Marshall and Ben Thompson (above), who were cup-tied last weekend.
Fred Onyedinma is another attacking option as Harris decides whether to stick with 4-3-3 or revert to 4-4-2.
Jed Wallace could also return from injury as Millwall aim to pull further clear of the relegation zone. They are four points above the Millers and five above the bottom three.
“What the cup run does is enable the squad to get plenty of opportunities to play. There are some tough decisions,” Harris said.
“The performance at Boro was outstanding and deserving of three points. Then the game against Everton was a performance that made me privileged to be their manager.
“There were some really strong performances and the tough decisions selection-wise continues this week, and what a position for me to be in.
“What I do know now is whatever 11 I go with I’m going to have seven players on the bench that are going to be more than capable of coming in and affecting the team. There will be players on that bench desperate to get on and I can turn around knowing they can make a difference.”
