SID Nelson "can't wait to get going" after joining Tranmere Rovers for the rest of the season.
Nelson spent the first half of the campaign at Swindon, who were eager for him to return, but he has now joined their League Two rivals.
Tranmere are currently two places and two points above the Robins in the table, five points off the play-offs after promotion from the National League last season.
Nelson, 23, is out of contract in the summer.
“I'm glad I'm joining a club that is looking forward and I now want to help the team push on," Nelson told Tranmere's official website.
“I found out about Tranmere’s interest a few days ago now and obviously I felt good about hearing that as Tranmere are a huge club with a great fan base.
“It's a team going in the right direction, so when I found out about the move I was delighted, and I'm happy the deal has gone through.
“As a player you want to compete in front of as many people as possible and Tranmere is a huge football club with a lot of history and I can’t wait to get going.
“I have played in League Two already this season with Swindon Town, so I know what the division is all about. I'm focussed on helping Tranmere Rovers move forward.”
