Harris: Millwall forward has been 'unplayable' since return from Wycombe Wanderers

NEIL Harris has reiterated his desire to add another attacking player to the squad – and revealed how impressed he has been with Fred Onyedinma this week.

Onyedinma has returned from a 24-game loan spell with Wycombe and Harris said he has been “unplayable” in training.

Onyedinma hasn’t featured in the league this season for Millwall, but could be in contention next weekend against Blackburn.

Harris expects to bolster his front line this month.

“Whether it’s the next week or two, there will be movement coming into the club, that’s for sure. We need to add to the squad,” Harris said.

“The key movement for us is Fred Onyedinma is back with us and has looked unplayable in two days in training. He couldn’t be involved today obviously but comes into the reckoning next week.

“Ben Thompson is available to come back from Portsmouth and we will be bringing him back to have a look at him as well.

“Tom King comes back from Wimbledon and Sid Nelson from Swindon. All four have the possibility of going out again but they all come back to us because they’re our boys and they’re great lads and great players. It thickens our squad up for the time being. It gives us a chance to assess the transfer window, ins and outs.

“If there are players that need to go out and play football I’ve got no problem with that, we’ve already let Byron Webster go to Scunthorpe. If there’s anyone else that needs to go then so be it.

“If we have to be creative to bring a player or two in then so be it as well.

“We certainly need to add another fresh face to the attacking line-up.”
