MILLWALL have completed the signing of defender Alex Pearce from Derby County.
Pearce has joined on loan until the end of the season after featuring just once for the Rams this term.
The 30-year-old brings a wealth of experience having made more than 300 senior career appearances, with the majority of those coming at Championship level.
Pearce was a product of the Reading Academy and played 240 games for his boyhood club before leaving to join Derby on a free transfer in the summer of 2015.
He would make 58 appearances at Pride Park – with the last of those coming on the opening day as a late substitute against the Royals.
Born in Oxford, Pearce qualified to play for Scotland through his parents and represented them at Under-19 and Under-21 level. He is also eligible to play for the Republic of Ireland and has been capped seven times – scoring twice, both against Oman.
Pearce will wear the number 15 shirt and is eligible – subject to FA clearance – to play for Millwall in their 3rd Round FA Cup tie against Hull City on Sunday.
