NEIL Harris says he has yet to make a decision who will start in goal against Bolton Wanderers on Saturday – with Ben Amos ineligible against his parent club.
Amos has played the last 12 games after making his debut following his summer loan switch from the Whites against Swansea on September 1.
Jordan Archer is the favourite to add to his 144 Lions appearances, but David Martin – who is back in training after picking up an injury in an under-23 game against Crystal Palace – in also an option between the sticks.
Martin, 32, has played just once in the league since joining the club on a free transfer in 2017, keeping a clean sheet against Aston Villa last December.
Former MK Dons goalkeeper Martin’s three other appearances were in the FA Cup last season.
“David Martin has recovered from injury. Ben obviously can’t play so it’s a decision for me whether it will be Jordan or David that comes into the team,” Harris told NewsAtDen.
“Jordan and David are fighting tooth and nail to be involved. They’ve both been training fantastically well, very, very professional, both of them.
“Both have had to be patient behind Ben, and the opportunity now comes for one of them to come into the team on Saturday.
“It’s a decision I’ll make as the week goes on.”
Meanwhile, Conor McLaughlin and Shane Ferguson returned to training this morning after their involvement with Northern Ireland in the international break.
Shaun Williams, Aiden O’Brien, Jiri Skalak and Mahlon Romeo will link up with the squad later this week.
