Millwall quintet depart for international duty

FOUR Millwall players will be involved in Uefa Nations League action after joining up with their international squads after Saturday’s Championship win over Aston Villa.

Shaun Williams and Aiden O’Brien both scored during the last international break, and are in Martin O’Neill’s squad for fixtures at home to Denmark next Saturday and Wales the following Tuesday.

Shane Ferguson, who scored the equaliser in the 2-1 win against Villa after recently winning back his place in the side, is with Conor McLaughlin for Northern Ireland’s games against away in Austria and Bosnia & Herzegovina on Friday and Monday.

Mahlon Romeo is also with Antigua & Barbuda for their CONCACAF Nations League qualifier away against Bahamas.

Jordan Archer has been left out of Scotland’s squad for a Nations League game in Israel and a friendly at home to Portugal.
