Millwall's Nelson makes first pre-season start

SID Nelson made his first appearance in pre-season as he played the opening half in Millwall under-23s' friendly win at Beckenham Town on Thursday night.

Nelson, 22, damaged ankle ligaments at the end of last season while on loan at Chesterfield which meant a later return to pre-season training.

The Lions won 4-0 against the SCEFL Premier Division side. Issac Olaofe (twice), JP Silva and former Barnet forward Justin Amaluzon scored for Millwall.

Winger Rob Harvey, 18, made his first appearance for the club following his move from Brightlingsea, while centre-back Lazar Stojsavljevic, 20, also featured again after playing in the 5-0 friendly win at Dartford earlier this month.
