Work on Brentford's new stadium will continue this campaign, with the Bees aiming to move to their New Lionel Road home at the end of 2019.

On the pitch, it was an impressive campaign for another side on a relatively modest budget, finishing ninth, just three points below Millwall. Dean Smith was touted for the West Brom job, among others, further showing just how good a job he is doing at Griffin Park.

In a Q&A on Millwall's official Twitter account, Jed Wallace said that he thought Ollie Watkins was the best winger he played against last season.

Millwall were 1-0 victors at The Den in March during their 17-game unbeaten league run, George Saville netting against his former side after Brentford won 1-0 at Griffin Park the previous November through a Romaine Sawyers strike.

Konsa looks to be a useful addition to the squad after the defender performed well for Charlton in recent seasons.

Prediction: Play-offs

Brentford are being tipped to have a strong campaign. Neal Maupay will be looking to improve upon last season's goal tally, and if Watkins continues his development then the Bees' immediate future appears promising.
