BYRON Webster made his first senior appearance in 10 months and Murray Wallace his Lions debut as Millwall kicked off their pre-season campaign by hammering Dartford on Saturday afternoon.
The Lions scored all their goals in the first half of a 5-0 win over the National League South side.
George Saville, Shaun Hutchinson and Sid Nelson were absent from Neil Harris' squad at Princes Park, while James Meredith is still away on his summer break.
Jed Wallace put Millwall ahead on two minutes when he fired home direct from a free-kick after Aiden O'Brien had been fouled.
Wallace made it 2-0 with a close-range finish in the 31st minute before O'Brien nodded in Shaun Williams' quick free-kick three minutes later.
The Lions were overwhelming their hosts and Mahlon Romeo got in on the act in the 36th minute, cutting in from the right before smashing home a long-range effort.
Millwall were handing a trial opportunity to free agent Lazar Stojsavljevic. The 20-year-old Serbian centre-back was with Woking last season and he had a relatively comfortable cameo, watching his rampant team-mates make it 5-0 two minutes before the break.
Wallace had the opportunity for a hat-trick when he stepped up to take a spot-kick, but Darts goalkeeper Deren Ibrahim saved it and the follow-up, before an alert Steve Morison pounced on the second rebound.
Harris sent out a completely different XI after the break, Webster and ex-Scunthorpe defender Wallace in the middle of a new back four.
Tom Elliott thought he had grabbed Millwall a sixth but his effort was ruled out after he had handled James Brown's long pass forward.
Elliott and striker partner Lee Gregory went close to adding to the lead but were off target as 18-year-old Lions winger Mason Saunders-Henry caught the eye.
He crossed for Elliott in the 66th minute but the centre-forward's header went over. Saunders-Henry then dribbled forward to set up Gregory, but his shot was saved by Darts replacement stopper Matthew Funnell.
First-half XI: 4-4-2: Archer; Romeo, Stojsavljevic (trialist), Cooper, McLaughlin; J Wallace, Donovan, Williams, O’Brien; Onyedinma, Morison.
Second-half XI: 4-4-2: Martin; Brown, Webster, M Wallace, McNamara; Ferguson, Thompson, Tunnicliffe, Saunders-Henry (Olaofe, 86); Gregory, Elliott.
