Championship preview: Millwall vs. Aston Villa

NEIL Harris will be forced into changes for the final Championship game of the season on Sunday.

Mahlon Romeo is out with a groin problem, while Ben Marshall and George Saville are also injury doubts.

Conor McLaughlin should start at right-back. Ryan Tunnicliffe will partner Shaun Williams in midfield if Saville is out. Aiden O’Brien, Fred Onyedinma and Shane Ferguson are options on the left wing.

Aston Villa have already secured fourth place, ensuring they will play the second leg of their play-off semi-final – most likely against Middlesbrough – at home.

Steve Bruce is without Neil Taylor and could rest key players ahead of next weekend’s semi-final. Axel Tuanzebe is out and Birkir Bjarnason may not be risked.

"We've got to use it to get ready for the following weekend, which is obviously more important than this game,” Villa assistant boss Colin Calderwood said.

"But we still want to come out of it in the same way as we did after Derby, having played well and looked really threatening in attack.

"We want the same again and to win the game.

"You're always preparing for the following match to the one you're playing somewhere in the background.

"But our immediate focus when talking to the players has been about Millwall."
