WITH Spurs the likely opponents in the fifth Round for the winners of this replay, the Lions will desperately want a victory on Tuesday night.
They didn't do themselves justice at White Hart Lane last season in the quarter-finals but know that playing at The Den is a different prospect against any visiting side.
Tim Cahill, Harry Toffolo, Ben Marshall, Aiden O’Brien and Byron Webster are all unavailable – the first three due to them not being signed before the original tie.
Rochdale will fancy their chances at Spotland. Neil Harris' men will be used to playing on higher quality pitches than that of League One strugglers Rochdale, and Keith Hill's side certainly had the better of the first game between these two.
Lucas Ball spoke to Dale fan Stephen Peacock this week.
Why do you support Rochdale?
I grew up in Rochdale. My dad worked Saturdays and a family friend offered to take me to Spotland. I loved it and was hooked.
What’s your favourite season following the team?
Now that is a tough question. Probably the 2007-08 season that ended with our dreams shattered at Wembley by Stockport County in the League Two play-off final. The run we went on to make those play-offs was simply amazing and like nothing I'd ever seen before at Spotland.
Rochdale are currently eight points off safety in League One. Do you expect them to beat the drop?
My head says no but my heart says Keith Hill can do anything with this team. To coin a Hill-ism, we've shapeshifted over the transfer window so you never know.
What are your thoughts on the FA Cup – love it or hate it?
It's the FA Cup, how can anybody hate it? It has brought us some money over the last few years and some good cup runs.
Who will Dale’s dangermen be on Tuesday night?
Ian Henderson – who scored in the 2-2 draw in the first game at The Den – oozes quality when he's on his game and his skills are certainly worthy of a higher level at times.
Which of Neil Harris’ players will Rochdale we wary of?
All of them. We've also been very good at posing a threat to ourselves this season.
What’s your predicted Rochdale starting XI and formation?
McGahey McNulty Delaney
Rafferty Cannon Camps Kitching Done
Finally, a score prediction?
Rochdale 1-1 Millwall after extra-time and a 4-3 win to you on penalties. Henderson to miss one of the penalties.
