Wright warns Brighton to underestimate Millwall at their peril

JOSH Wright says the visit of Brighton to The Den on Saturday provides Millwall with a "great opportunity" to get back to winning ways.

And the midfielder has warned the Seagulls to think again if they are expecting an easy ride against the Lions, who have lost their last two matches against Hull City and Cardiff City respectively.

Gus Poyet's side are on a four-game winning run and find themselves in third place in the Championship table with 13 points.

"We're as good as them, if not better on our day," Wright told Lions Live. "We've got to do exactly what we did against them last year – work hard and keep the ball.

"If we give possession away cheaply, we're going to be chasing the ball around all afternoon. It's a great opportunity for us to get back to winning ways.

"They've got very good players but it's about us. We have to take the game to them. They play nice flowing football, they pass the ball well and fair play to them for that. They're neat and tidy.

"Maybe they're thinking it's going to be easy for them because we've lost two on the trot, but I can tell you now it's not going to be.

"We're going to be right up for it, as much as we have been before any game.

"We want to win big time. We're going to try and stop them playing – we can't let them come here and dictate play as much as that's what they're going to try and do.

"They can do that in their own half but once they come into our half we've got to stop them. It's up to us."
