Championship preview: Millwall vs. Wolves

MILLWALL boss Neil Harris could shuffle his pack ahead of the visit of Wolves to The Den, the second of four fixtures over 10 days across the Christmas period.

Conor McLaughlin is pushing for a recall against the side that tops the table by seven points. Shaun Williams could also start for the first time since September.

Jed Wallace and George Saville face their former club. Lions skipper Steve Morison admitted Saville has at times done the job of the strikers this season, with the midfielder top of the goal-scoring chart for the club.

“He’s been fantastic,” Morison said. "He has stepped up when the forwards haven’t on a few occasions this year. He’s been great and I bet he’ll be really looking forward to bringing Wolves to The Den and letting them sample what we can do at The Den.

“Let’s hope it’s not an anti-climax like [Saturday] and we don’t perform. Because we have played very well at The Den. We’ve beaten some very good teams so let’s hope we can take another big scalp on Tuesday.”

Wolves boss Nuno Esprito has a huge squad, and could rotate for the fixture, with Ruben Vinagre, Helder Costa, Alfred N'Diaye and Bright Enobakhare all pressing for starting spots.

Wolves haven’t conceded a goal in four games and are unbeaten in nine, a run that stretches back to a 2-1 defeat by QPR in October.
