MILLWALL assistant manager Dave Livermore believes Kristian Brymora’s attitude was key to him earning a contract extension at the club.
Brymora, 19, signed a deal this week until the end of the season having joined on a short-term contract after impressing on trial in the summer.
Australian Brymora has shown his goal-scoring talent in Millwall’s under-23 side this season, and his work rate hasn’t gone unnoticed by senior management.
“He’s not done it the easy way. He’s come over from Australia, that’s never easy,” Livermore. “He’s an extremely hard worker and very competitive, like Australians are.
“Some of the best players I played with and most competitive players I played with have been from Australia. We see that with Mezza [James Meredith] as well, he’s ultra-competitive.
“Kris has earned his extension. We’ve got Jamie Philpot and Harry Smith out on loan so there’s a little window for Kris there to see how he develops.”
