MILLWALL are targeting Fleetwood Town striker Devante Cole in the January transfer window.
Lions boss Neil Harris is in the market for an attacker next month, and has an interest in Cole, 22, according to the football journalist Alan Nixon.
Former Bradford City player Cole has scored 10 goals in 24 games for League One Fleetwood this season.
Harris wants to add a goal-scorer to his squad, with Lee Gregory, Tom Elliott and Steve Morison having scored just eight times between them this season.
Millwall enquired about Cole’s team-mate Ashley Hunter in August, but were put off by the asking price.
The Lions could now go back to Fleetwood with a bid for Cole, who started his career at Manchester City.
Sheffield United are also reported to be interested.
