STEVE Morison has an “outside chance” of being involved against Birmingham City at The Den in front of the Sky Sports cameras on Saturday evening.
Morison missed his first game of the season last weekend as a stomach problem kept him out of the 1-0 defeat to Brentford.
Morison hasn’t trained properly since before Millwall played Barnsley on September 30.
Lions boss Neil Harris said: “He’s got a torn oblique muscle on the side of his stomach. It’s a bizarre one, he did it in the Reading game and then played in the Barnsley game. He wasn’t fit and I probably shouldn’t have picked him.
“Steve is Steve, he always wants to play and I went with him on the back of a very good win against Reading. It didn’t make him any worse but it delayed his recovery.
“Is there an outside chance for Birmingham? Because he’s Steve Morison I’d say probably yes.
“But he’s not trained 100 per cent. And if he does get back training he’s got to prove he’s 100 per cent. It just depends on whether time runs out before this weekend whether we can do that or not.”
