KENNY Jackett believes Cardiff City's visit to The Den provides Millwall with the perfect opportunity to bury the demons from their defeat at Hull.
The Lions boss was disappointed with his side's "poor" defensive performance in the 4-1 defeat at KC Stadium on Saturday but sees the match against the Bluebirds as a shot at redemption.
And Jackett wants Millwall to "come out fighting" against the Welsh club, who arrive in SE16 on the back of a 2-1 win over Leeds United last Saturday.
"It's a big opportunity for us to bounce back," he said. "It's a good thing that we don't have to wait too long for our next game. We are looking forward to it.
"We need to find some defensive stability in our side, and that's not necessarily just in the back four, and we have to work towards clean sheets.
"The good thing is that in every game this season we've created chances, had shots and scored goals but that has to be off a defensive base. As a group we need to lick our wounds after Hull and come out fighting."
