Millwall launch Gregory appeal – and want decision before crunch Leeds clash

MILLWALL have launched an appeal against Lee Gregory's red card in the 2-2 draw at QPR on Tuesday night.

Gregory was sent off for the first time in his Millwall career after referee Roger East deemed he went in high and late on Hoops midfielder Josh Scowen in the 42nd minute of the sides' Championship clash.

If the sending-off is upheld, Gregory will miss games against Leeds United this Saturday, Preston and Reading.

Millwall are hoping the FA will hear the appeal on Thursday as the club want a decision before Saturday's clash with the unbeaten Championship leaders.
