IT was a difficult weekend for Millwall’s loan players as none of them finished on the winning sides across three leagues.
In League One, Jimmy Abdou was substituted in the 73rd minute as AFC Wimbledon went down 1-0 at home to Shrewsbury who claimed the points after Alex Rodman’s early goal maintained his side’s 100 per cent start.
In League Two, Harry Smith thought he had equalised for Swindon after Liam McAlinden had put Exeter ahead at the County Ground, only to see the goal ruled out for handball.
Smith went off at the break as the Robins levelled through substitute Kaiyne Woolery in the second half.
Jamie Philpot came on as a 53-rd minute substitute for Woking against Barrow in their National League clash. But Woking were already 2-0 down at that stage and conceded a third late on to lose 3-0.
