Key Millwall duo doubts for Bolton clash after injuries in Stevenage win

JAKE Cooper and Lee Gregory are doubts for Millwall's league clash against Bolton next weekend after both went off injured in the 2-0 win over Stevenage in the EFL Cup on Tuesday.

Cooper was substituted after injuring his ankle in the first half, with Gregory coming on. But Gregory last just 41 minutes before he was forced off with a hamstring problem and went straight down the tunnel.

Tom Elliott scored twice on his home debut to send Millwall through to the next round.

But the win could have come at a cost.

"Coops has rolled his ankle and any player that comes off on a Tuesday night is always going to struggle to make Saturday, I presume," Lions manager Neil Harris said.

"Hopefully it won't be long term and we're going to assess him shortly before seeing him in the morning.

"We hope for the best.

"Greggers just felt his hamstring tightening up and, again, same situation, might struggle for Saturday. We'll asses him over the next few days to see if he has a chance or not."
