MILLWALL have named Kevin Nugent their new Elite Development Squad boss.
Nugent fills the role vacated last season by Justin Skinner.
Academy boss Scott Fitzgerald and Adam Barrett had been overseeing the under-23 side in the interim.
Barrett will now focus solely on his role as first-team coach as part of Neil Harris’ senior management staff.
Nugent, 48, was a striker who played for Plymouth, Cardiff and Swansea, among others.
He has been caretaker and interim manager of Leyton Orient, and he was also caretaker manager of Charlton Athletic last season for three games before the Addicks appointed Karl Robinson.
Nugent was named Barnet manager in February, but left the post after two months.
