MILLWALL’S senior first-team squad will train at Calmont Road on Tuesday morning before a youthful selection features in a friendly against Folkestone Invicta in the evening.
Millwall fly out to Portugal on Thursday for a six-day training camp ahead of the 2017-18 Championship season.
The Lions’ first team drew 1-1 in a friendly against Dartford on Saturday, but the majority of those who played at Princes Park will not travel to the fixture against the Isthmian League Premier Division side.
That means the likes of Danny McNamara and Lewis White, who signed professional deals this summer and were in a Millwall XI side that defeated Fisher 3-1 at the weekend, will be part of the squad at Cheriton Road.
“Tuesday night will be an under-23 squad,” Millwall boss Neil Harris said. “Some of the lads that played [Saturday] will go, and some of the lads that played at Fisher will go.
“Some of the boys will play 60 minutes, along with members of the youth team and some trialists.”
The friendly was agreed as part of the deal that took striker Harry Smith from Folkestone Invicta to Millwall last summer.
Possible Millwall team: Sandford; McNamara, Mbulu, Rooney, Chesmain; White, Donovan, Wicks, Twardek; Olaofe, Leighton.
